- What information do I need to place an order?
For orders that require a prescription lens you will need to enter a valid eye test prescription (remember it’s different for contact lenses) and your Pupillary Distance (PD). The PD is the difference in millimetres between your pupils. This helps us centre your prescription correctly in to your frames. This information is asked for when you make your order after selecting your frames.
- What if I need to cancel or change my order?
If you need to change your prescription or cancel your order please email email@example.com with your order reference number within 2 hours of placing an order. If an order for prescription lenses is cancelled after 2 hours you may receive a refund minus the cost of the prescription lens, depending on if the lens has already been ordered at that point. No orders can be cancelled after an order has been processed and shipped.
- How can I check the status of my order?
To check the status of an order you have placed, sign in to your account on www.gotd.co.uk using the email and password created during account sign up. Once you’re signed in, click on ‘orders’ from the menu and you will find your order details here.
- How do I submit my Prescription?
We offer two types of prescription lenses. Single vision (for seeing near or distance) and digital device protection. Either of these options can be selected during checkout once you have chosen your frames. Before submitting your order we require your Pupillary Distance (PD), OD (right eye) and OS (left eye). In case you find it difficult to read your prescription provided by your optometrist you can email us a picture of your prescription for the GOTD Optometrist to check. Our resident optometrist will then analyse your prescription to update your record.
- How do I obtain a prescription?
The easiest way to obtain a prescription is to visit your local optometrist. They will provide you with your prescription once they have tested your eyes. Be sure to ask in case they don’t provide it to you. Please also ask for your Pupillary Distance (PD).

- Where can I find my frame’s measurements?
On each product page, the frame measurements are listed as three numbers (the temple width, height of the frames and distance across the frames). You can use these measurements to compare sizes and if they will be a suitable fit.
- What’s the best way to clean my lenses?
To clean your lenses, simply wash them with mild soap and lukewarm water, and dry them with a soft cloth. For day-to-day cleaning of light smudges, use the cloth provided with your glasses case to give them a clean. Avoid using hot water as these may damage the lens and frames.
